1993 Finest Refractors Colorado Rockies Graded POP Reports

I am a Rockies collector and I’m really into early to mid-1990s inserts and variations. So naturally, I’m obsessed with 1993 Finest Refractors. I don’t actually own any, however, so if you have one and are willing to part with it, hit me up.

I also love doing investigative digging into areas of the hobby that interest me. It’s been rumored for some time that the print run of 1993 Finest refractors were limited to only 241, though Topps has never confirmed this. I believe some supercollectors have speculated that some may have slightly higher runs, but generally the consensus is that there are only about 240-250 refractors of each card in 1993 Finest.

So for gits and shiggles, I wanted to see how many Colorado Rockies refractors I could track down. The best place to start, of course, is looking at population reports of the top grading companies.

It’s been accepted for a while that Alex Cole happens to be of a shorter print run (SP – short print) than the others, but as I’m tracking these to the best of my ability, I’m not sure I’m finding evidence of that. If anything, Charlie Hayes seems to be the more scarce card and has the 4th lowest PSA total among all 1993 refractors.

Have a 1993 Finest refractor Rockies card in your collection? Tell me about it! I’m actively accounting for as many RAW cards as I can besides POP reports, just to get a sense of how many of these are accounted for.
