    • I own a 1990 jose uribe error card . his birthday year is 1959. This card has his birthday year as 1960

        • Hey Curtis! Thanks for reaching out. If you haven't yet, be sure to read my write-up on this card.

Yes, there is an error on this card (birth year, as you mentioned), but it was never corrected. This means that there is no scarcity to the error card. It's just an error. Not rare whatsoever. Error cards are only more valuable when they are later corrected, making the error version much more rare (i.e., No Name Frank Thomas). LOTs of cards have little errors like this that are never corrected. There's nothing special about them.

As with anything, these cards are "worth" what someone will pay for them, though I would NOT trust the sales prices on ebay. That said, this whole Jose Uribe mystery has actually seemed to turn this card into a fairly hot item! Kind of a cult classic, if you will. I think the cards that are selling for $3, $4, $5 or so are legit sales... people are wanting this card now because of the infamy it has achieved. And perhaps the error version IS worth a bit more. But certainly, we're talking in the single dollar amounts, not the thousands or even hundreds of thousands we've seen.

  • Hi,
I'm looking for someone who will fill want list. Do U have anyone in mind. Not looking
for any expensive cards. I have phillies teams sets from 1953 to the present.Need some common phillies cards.
    Thanks
