Jack Kevorkian (1928-2011), known as “Dr. Death,” was a pathologist advocating for assisted suicide. He gained controversial fame in the 1990s, assisting terminally ill patients in ending their lives. His unorthodox methods and staunch beliefs led to legal battles, culminating in a second-degree murder conviction in 1999. Despite controversy, Kevorkian sparked discussions on end-of-life decisions and physician-assisted suicide.
